Excellence in Education is a supportive way parents, families, and friends can help support in a financial way the many programs we have at Good Shepherd Lutheran School. We have many opportunities for individuals to help:

Target Community Giving Program
You can support our school by shopping with your Target Visa or Target Guest Card. These are both credit cards issued by Target. You must designate GSLS, account #21592, to receive the donation. If you already have one of these cards, you may go online or call 1-800-316-6142 to make your designation. You may also go online to obtain one of these cards by clicking on the Target icon or going to target.com. Anyone can participate, as long as they qualify for a credit card.
This program accumulates funds all year long.
Target will donate an amount equal to 1% of your qualifying Target Visa or Target Guest Card purchases made at Target stores or target.com. In addition, 1/2% of qualifying Target Visa purchases outside of Target stores or target.com will be awarded to GSLS.
Schoolcash.com
Shop online at the over 250 brand-name stores on the SchoolCash website and up to 30% of your purchase will go back to the school, educational or community organization of your choice--at no extra cost! To get to this sight, click on the schoolcash icon or go to schoolcash.com.
Anyone can participate by designating GSLS as their organization of choice.
Schoolcash pays us rebates based on the purchases made on their website that have been designated as GSLS purchases.
General Mills Box Tops for Education
Collect the box tops from more than 330 participating General Mills products marked “Box Tops for Education”. Trimming them properly and then turning them into your child’s teacher. Remind your friends and family to save them too!
Shop at the Box Tops for Education Marketplace with over 100 stores, designate GSLS, and GSLS gets up to 10% of each qualifying purchase.
Charge your purchases using the Box Tops Visa card. 1% of every purchase made using the card is donated to GSLS. To sign up for the card, call 1-800-227-9605 or go to the Box Tops website.

Each Box Top logo is worth 10 cents to GSLS from General Mills.
Get extra Box Tops by shopping at Shop 'n Save. By saving your Shop 'n Save receipts that have Box Tops items on them and mailing them to the company, they will send you Bonus Box Tops that you may turn in to the school.

Campbell's Labels for Education
Here's your chance to help GSLS get free educational equipment! Collect your labels throughout the school year and bring them to your child’s teacher. Put those labels to good use today and pledge them for educational merchandise. Remind your friends and family to save them too.

Market Day Food Products
Market Day is a company that sells various food products and donates a percentage of the sales back to our school.
You may order your items using the order form that is supplied by the school each month or you may go to marketday.com and order online. Click on the Market Day icon to directly to their site.
Our account number is #12421. Have your friends and family participate here too. They can order online and pick-up their orders at the school. Market Day actually sends you a reminder email so you don’t forget after you order online.
The items are picked up once a month at the school.
Newspaper & Magazine Recycling
Your family and friends collect various paper products such as newspapers, magazines, catalogs, advertising inserts, paper, cardboard, and bring them to the 2 bins that are located in the school parking lot. These are the 2 yellow and green bins that are on the south end of the parking lot near the mobile classrooms.
Only paper items may be deposited-no plastic, trash, glass, metals, or yard waste.
Aluminum Can Recycling
Bring your aluminum cans to our blue bin in the parking lot. Proceeds support technology at Good Shepherd.
Ink Cartridges
Collect empty inkjet printer cartridges from work and home and help support our technology department! Send them to school and give them to Mr. Voss or Mr. Kogler. We cannot accept laser cartridges.
QSP Magazine Sales
Visit the QSP online store and enter our account number for Good Shepherd, 422214621. Follow their instructions to order or renew your magazine subscriptions.
Seasonal Fundraisers
Magazine Sale (August)
At the end of August, the children receive booklets that list the types of items for sale. They proceed to recruit sales from friends and family for these items, and we receive a percentage of total sales.
Christmas Sale (October)
In October, the children receive booklets that list the types of items for sale. They proceed to recruit sales from friends and family for these items, and we receive a percentage of total sales.
Candy Sale (Feb/March)
In February or March, the children receive candy items for sale. They proceed to recruit sales from friends and family for these items, and we receive a percentage of total sales.
